Polo Professional Matt Coppola becomes newest HHH Ambassador

Wellington, FL- January 24, 2016 - Horses Healing Hearts (HHH), is proud to announce the addition of Polo professional, Matt Coppola to their list of impressive ambassadors and mentors. HHH is the only non-profit organization in the country that provides an equine facilitated learning program designed to help children dealing with addiction in their homes. The four-goal player, who is quickly making his way up the polo ranks, will be the organizations third polo ambassador, joining professionals Stuart "Sugar" Erskine and Jeff Blake.

"When I found out about HHH, it made me want to become involved immediately," said Coppola. "The work this organization is doing is really important and I cannot wait to go and spend time with the kids, I am really looking forward to it."

HHH is designed to help children in families suffering from substance abuse by allowing them the opportunity to learn about and ride horses. HHH provides each child with an escape from the day-to-day struggles they encounter and provides an opportunity for empowerment through life-coping skills and confidence, which are learned through riding and caring for horses. While there are more than 28 million children currently living with an alcoholic parent or guardian, HHH is the only non-profit of its kind utilizing equine-assisted therapy.

The 22-year-old, Wellington native knows how important horses can be to children and young adults. Coppola, who works alongside his father, polo legend Tony Coppola, to breed, train and sell polo ponies and Thoroughbred race horses has been around horses all of his life. Since becoming a professional he has used his passion and drive to become one of the most exciting young polo players at the prestigious Grand Champions Polo. This February, Coppola will play in the 20-goal Ylvisaker Cup on an all-pro team
